Refund & Cancellation Policy
We believe the best reason to stay subscribed is because you love what arrives in your mailbox — not because canceling was too confusing.
Nini: I don't believe people should cancel.
Jules: Mom, we have to have a cancellation policy.
Nini: I understand that. I'm just saying I don't believe in it.
Jules: It's not something you "believe in." It's a consumer right.
Nini: And I support their right to make bad decisions.
Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel anytime. No phone calls. No guilt trips. No "are you sure?" screens that make you click through seventeen times.
To cancel, either:
Use your subscriber portal — log in at julesandnini.com, go to your account, and cancel directly. It takes about thirty seconds.
Email us at hello@julesandnini.com and say "I'd like to cancel." That's all you need to write. We'll process it within three business days.
Nini: But I can't guarantee you won't get scolded by Nini.
Jules: She's kidding.
Nini: Am I?
When you cancel, your subscription stops at the end of your current billing cycle. You'll still receive any chapter you've already paid for. We don't cut you off mid-month.
Refunds
Before your chapter ships: If you cancel before we've mailed your chapter for the current month, we'll refund that month in full. No questions asked.
Nini: I have questions. But I'll keep them to myself.
After your chapter ships: Once a chapter has been mailed, we can't un-mail it. We checked.
Nini: I went to the Post Office in person. I said, "What if someone changes their mind after you deliver something?" The woman behind the counter stared at me for about ten seconds and then said, "Ma'am, that's not how mail works."
Jules: She tells this story like she won.
Nini: I got clarity. That's winning.
So we can't refund that month's charge. But your cancellation will prevent any future charges.
Gift subscriptions: Prepaid gift subscriptions (3-month, 6-month, 12-month) are non-refundable once the first chapter has shipped to the recipient. If the gift hasn't shipped yet, we'll refund the full amount.
Keepsake Products
One-time purchases like the Keepsake Box, Reading Journal, Correspondence Cards, or Bound Edition can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they're in the condition you received them. Email us at hello@julesandnini.com and we'll send you return instructions. We'll cover return shipping if the product arrived damaged or wasn't what you ordered.
Damaged or Missing Shipments
If your chapter arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all, let us know. We'll send a replacement. Every chapter deserves to be read in the condition it was written — not crumpled, soggy, or lost in a sorting facility somewhere in Ohio.
Nini: No offense to Ohio.
Jules: Why would Ohio be offended?
Nini: I don't know. People are sensitive. I'm covering our bases.
Coming Back
If you cancel and later decide you miss us, you're always welcome back. Your subscriber history stays on file, and we can pick up right where you left off. The story continues whether you're here or not — but it's better with you in it.
Nini: I told you she'd come back.
Jules: Mom, they haven't left. We're on the policies page.
Nini: I'm speaking to the future version of them who canceled and is now regretting it.
